BBQ Scheduled to Salute Pacific Palisades’ First Responders

Pacific Palisades residents are invited to a “Palisades Community Gratitude BBQ” to salute LAPD officers assigned to the Palisades and local firefighters from Stations 69 and 23. The event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday August 27, at the Chabad Jewish Community Center at 17315 Sunset Blvd.

Rabbi Zushe Cunin said the event is an opportunity to express appreciation for the honor, sacrifice and commitment that local fire fighters and police officers have made to the Palisades. “Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy a gourmet BBQ and entertainment for the whole family,” Cunin said. The event is being hosted by Chabad and the Palisades Jewish Early Childhood Center, and co-sponsored by The American Legion, Rodeo Realty, Palisades Shell, Palisades Pride, Pacific Palisades Task Force on Homelessness, the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce and Palisades Charter Schools Foundation. Prepaid admission is $15, prepaid family of four is $50. RSVP to chabadpalisades.com/bbq.
